well yeah, he's starting to get his adult teeth

My puppy's teeth kepp fallin out...is this normal?
Is it a Chinese Crested? Because some smaller dogs have that gene inherited.

Reply:Yes, it is very normal. Just like little kids, your puppy will lose his/her baby teeth and grow adult teeth.

Reply:Apparently this is normal. When we adopted our last little bundle of joy she was very young. She's an inside dog and we kept finding what looked like little bits of teeth. When we got her in to the vet, he said he couldn't tell how old she really was (and wouldn't fix her) until all her puppy teeth dropped and new ones came in.

Reply:Just like a kid, they have to lose them for their adult teeth. Just be prepared for it. Since they are in pain from the teeth changing they will want to chew a lot. Do not be surprised to see blood if they are chewing, it happens and its part of the process. They also may swallow their baby teeth as part of the process but this is harmless and they pass it out. Any baby teeth you do find, just pick up so they don't decide to eat them (puppies tend to eat a lot of stuff they shouldn't)
Reply:hi puppies teeth do fall out just like ours when we are little then they grow back new ones its perfectly normal know worries
Reply:All dogs have puppy teeth that they start to lose when they are about 5 months old. If it is a small breed they might not lose all of them, but you should have your vet remove any that they have not lost by the time they are 8 months old. If you don't remove the puppy teeth food will get trapped by them and cause them to have horrible teeth and bad breath.
Reply:YES this is a very normal part of growing up for puppies. How else can the new adult teeth come through if the baby teeth dont fall out to make room for them.
Reply:Yeah, my dog lost his teeth when he was a puppy. :) So, it's fine.
