any advice,help?
How old could my puppy be, she has no teeth yet?
You are doing good ,but you want to at least call the Vet tomorrow and see if the pup needs extra protection from diseases since it was dependent on that from mom's milk. It's immune system will not be as good as if Mom was feeding it.Maybe the Goat milk will be the same but it never hurts to ask,for sure.By 6 weeks you should see teeth poking through so it may be younger.Just make sure it is thriving and improving everyday or getting stronger every Day .Also it should be gaining a little weight .Maybe weigh yourself and then pick up the pup and measure the difference. That way you can keep up with weight gain .When the pup finally gets teeth you can add a Dry Puppy feed moistened with warm water to it's diet a little at a time.Keep her warm and don't worry about bathes for a few more weeks .Sounds like you are doing good .Good Luck !!!!!!
Reply:Less than 4 weeks old, and you should get her to the vet sooner than two weeks. If her mom is dead and she has no teeth she cannot eat normal food. You should be bottle feeding her. Good luck with her.
Reply:it kinda depends on the breed. i have a 2 1/2 week old boxer and he is cutting teeth already.
Reply:This is a question for a professional. If it's up and walking it should have teeth by now. If her mom died while she was nursing she may have not been given the right type of milk. Ask a vet.
Reply:puppys start growing baby teeth at 4 weeks, they loose them at around 4 months old and start growing there adult teeth. So if the lady said she was 5-6 weeks she is probably 4 weeks. Though, if she doesnt have a mother, she could be up to 8 weeks old and still have no teeth if she is very malnutritioned. You should try and get her into a vet earlier than 2 weeks incase this is the case, she could also develeop alot of other medical problems within two weeks.
good luck
Reply:SHe has absolutely no teeth at all?? She is NOT 5-6 weeks of age.. 3 weeks they'll start eating food and they have teeth.. If she is just starting to walk, she is likely between 2 and 3 weeks of age, closer to 2. Your puppy has to be younger than 3 weeks if she has no teeth at all. You should report the lady that gave you such a young puppy. Doesn't matter if something happened to mom at all, the puppies are her responsibility til they are ready to go to homes..
Reply:you will want to go to the pet store and buy a bottle and formula for puppies. If you can take her with you because they might be able to show you what you need. If she has no teeth then how is she eating? if you end up bottle feeding her then when she starts to get teeth start offering her moist foods because they will chew up the bottle once they get teeth.
Hope this helped and good luck with your puppy
Reply:go out and get some puppy formula and feed the pup at least every couple hours
