Do dogs have baby teeth? My puppy' s tooth was bleeding a little & it fell out (can't call vet til 2morrow)

The first set of teeth that pups have are called milk teeth. They should all be gone, and adult teeth in by 5-6 months of age. The knowledge that their adult teeth are in lets you know its time for their rabies shot. 1 shot the first year, and then another 3 years after that!

Reply:Yes, dogs loose their baby teeth just like humans and most other mammals. He will become very mouthy during this process because his mouth is sore. If you take some carrots (baby ones for small breeds and big ones for large breeds) freeze them and let the puppy chew on them, they act like teething rings and soothe the gums. This is also a healthy snack, they can enjoy anytime.

Reply:yes of course they do all those little needle teeth will fall out and be replaced by strong adult teeth give him hard toys to bite to help him get rid of them it,ll be a blessing for you too as you know how sharp they are when he bites you its nothing to worry about at all its very normal

Reply:its normal u dont need to call the vet its just kinda remind me of myself a couple months ago my puppys tooth was lose i was looking at it and it fell out and i heard a crunch crunch she swallowed it and i started to panic and of course it was at night so i was on here asking people if she was alright so for future notice if she swallows it she will be fine
