Can you recommend things to give my puppy to help him lose some of his baby teeth?

My 5 month old puppy has 4 different teeth (two in the front and his two top canines) that have not fallen out even though his adult teeth have grown in. The vet said that we need to start wiggling them to get them out and if they are not out by January, we will need to get them pulled but I really want to avoid putting him under anesthesia.

The teeth aren't loose AT ALL and he doesn't sit still long enough for us to really sit there and wiggle them. Is there anything I can give him to at least get them moving at all? He has raw hides and a cow knee but those haven't done anything. Thank you in advance!

Leave them alone. Your vet will pull them out when he gets neutered next month (he will already be under anesthetic) when he is 6 months old.

ADD: Gotcha :) If he has not lost his teeth on his own by now, chances are he will not. I would set up an appointment at your veterinarian to pull those residing baby teeth. I would have them pulled within the next month before they create more oral and jaw alignment problems. Unfortunately, no toys/bones/etc. will help his teeth to fall out. Especially, if they are not loose. Good luck!
Reply:y not just have them pulled when u neuter ur dog. that way u can kill two birds with one stone

EDIT: if he hasnt lost them now then he wont and if u dont get them pulled he will be in pain. and it is mean to try to do it urself.
Reply:Give him hard and juicy things to eat and make sure you let him play with yanking kind of toys and toys and food to make the teeth looser and make him healthier.
Reply:Give him a flavored bone (to help with the pain of losing teeth). Also a non-fuzzy squeaky toy.
Reply:Use those chewy flavored bones (NOT RAWHIDE!), safe chewing sticks, and teething toys. This should help. You can also try brushing his teeth.
Reply:At 5 months of age you should be teaching your puppy to sit still for grooming, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing.I recommend a puppy obediance class so you can handle your puppy better and enjoy him more. That said, my daughter had permanent teeth come in behind her baby teeth and had to get the baby teeth pulled. Maybe vet can just use sedation, not anasthesia.
