My puppy's new teeth are coming in. What is normal?

Is it normal for her to have a fever and be totally down because of this? Do puppies experience the same symptoms babies do?

yep-but they get the teeth fast-so don't worry-spoil her a bit-nice warm milk-lots of walks-and plenty of love- she will remember you helped her- dogs do.xx
Reply:I don't know about a fever, but DO expect then to bite the crap out of everything. Get them lots of toys (ropes, stuffed animals, etc.) to gnaw on. If you really want to numb the gums, so to the baby isle of your local store and buy those teething rings with water in the middle. You stick them in the freezer, and they freeze up like ice to numb the gums while the baby (or dog) chews on them.

Another thing, don't be startled when at around 5 months of age you start to see little teeth around the house. Those are just them losing their baby teeth! I didn't know they lost them at first, and I freaked out when I first saw one on my carpet.
Reply:I just got a new puppy and she was also slowed donw becasue her teeth are coming, and now that you mentioned it she did hvae a fever. My puppy does eat her food though??
