When will my 3 1/2 month old pit bull puppy start getting his adult teeth?

Adult teeth come in from 4-8 months old.Just make sure the milk teeth aren't retained when the adult teeth are in.

When will my 3 1/2 month old pit bull puppy start getting his adult teeth?
i have 2 pitbuuls
Reply:by the age of about 7 or 8 months it should have most/all of its adult teeth. It will start teething soon till about 6 months.

In the meantime, enjoy the teething stage!!
Reply:usually between 6 mo's and a year. Mmm teething. SOOO much fun.
Reply:like 6 months.. and its kinda funny.. you probably wont see most of them they swallow most.
Reply:it will be pretty soon

you might want to watch out because he will start chewing on things just to get rid of the pain
Reply:I have 3 and a half pit bulls
Reply:my pit puppy started to get its adult teeth at around 5 months. her two front teeth also fell at around the same time.
Reply:He's going to start pretty soon. I kept finding my dog's teeth everywhere and was able to save a few of them. When you play with him, you'll be able to notice which teeth are loosening up.
Reply:%26gt;About 1 month before it injures (or worse) a human child.%26lt;
Reply:He should start anytime. He will also go through a second teething atage between 5-7 months. I would suggest stocking up on bully sticks (they are the SAFEST chew available, and even crate safe!) to save your furniture and shoes, etc. Pitties teeth especially hard, so offering him plenty of chewing alternatives is a MUST. Another good idea is to take a Kong and fill it with canned puppy food and stick it in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes. this will soothe his gums along with pacifying his urge to chew. teething is just as painful in puppies as it is in babies, so don't scold him too hard if he gets ahold of something that isn't on his list of things to chew. Congrats and good luck! PS- don't be suprised if you find a puppy tooth or two around the house. I still have one of my boy's baby teeth and he is 4 years old! :)
Reply:between 4 and 8 months - don't forget to feed lots of raw meaty bones during this period to help prevent periodontal disease. The meat flosses between the teeth and massages sore gums while the edible bones scrape plaque and tartar of those new teeth.
Reply:I have 1 pitbulls and as far as i no dogs don't loose there teeth and grow adult teeth
