My puppy named Noodles is 5 months old. She still has tiny teeth, and shes biting everything. Is she teething?

My other dog is a few years older than my new puppy. But when my other dog was a puppy, she never did this. Is it because the breed difference?

Yes she is teething for a couple more months :) it could be the breed difference. Also keep an eye on her teeth, can you see the new adult teeth growing in? is she losing teeth? My puppy at 5 months is still teething and just lost some of her front teeth so the adult ones are about to grow in. Get her a nice teething bone or a "kong" where you put treats inside or also some of the newer toys let you freeze em so it is nice and cool on their teeth. We just give our puppy an ice cube, she loves em :)
Reply:Yes. She'll do this for about 2-3 more months. Be sure you have lots of safe chew toys available for her.
Reply:She just might be my dog Queenie who is half German Shepard half American bulldog use to EAT the walls.. her teeth are bothering her really bad so shes chewing on anything to help her soothe it. If you have some chew toys and aren't working I recommend going to BJ's wholesale if you have one and buying the busy bones in bulk they are like 5 bucks for a pack of 10. Give her bones to help her teeth or those rubber bones. I lost 2 doors, 3 window ledges AND I have 2 holes in walls and had to patch them up (I rent my apartment). My moms chihuahua chewed up our door, that was a one time thing. My dog also when she gets lonely and I ignored her before leaving will lay by doors and bite on the lineage of the door. She could be doing this out of loneliness or her teeth are bothering her. Give it time it will pass. I promise.
Reply:i dont know

but it kinda sounds like it
Reply:yep she is teething her teeth should drop out very soon and her big ones will be comeing more chewing im afraid get your dog some hard toys to chew on that will help they are just like babys
Reply:it depends when it comes to breeds now some breeds need to have chalenges like try to train him to sit or get him a toy you hide a trat in. and also when he tryies to chew on ANYTHING but her own toys this includes you and your fingers say no and give her one of her toys and as soon as she touches her toy praise her with treats and petting.
Reply:Yes she is teething and it is completly normal. All dogs are different just like humans we all grow at different rates and in different ways. Just try giving her a lot of bones, rawhide and toys to avoid ruining you stuff. Hard rubber and bones are best for teething.
