My puppy keeps eating rocks and bricks, and now her baby teeth are all blunt, what should i do ?

All her supposedly sharp teeth are now all blunt becuase she keeps grinding her teeth on rocks and bricks, so her teeth are slowing grinding away what should i do,

Make sure the dog does not have access to the bricks %26amp; rocks!! Along with damaging her teeth she could also get a blockage in her stomache or intestines that will require a major surgery!!!

Then you should not leave her in the garden unattended!!!
Reply:Don't let her chew on rocks and bricks. If you leave her outside alone pick up all the rocks and bricks and put them where she can't get to them.

Can you fence off the garden or make an area for her in a different part of the backyard. If you can't pick up the rocks and bricks or keep her away from them she should not be outside alone you should always watch her. By the time she is 2 she will have no teeth left if she keeps up this behavior.
Reply:I am right where you are, my puppy also chews on rocks and my driveway is full of them! I have to take my puppy out on a leash at all times because he started to swallow them and it irritated his bowels and could have gotten lodged in his bowel, get her leash and walk with her as she is out side, when she picks up a rock say drop it if she don't, take it out of her mouth while saying leave it, after a while as you see her sniffing at the rocks and such say leave it and she will get the hint but it takes time it will not happen over night, praise her when she does what you ask. Be consistent. as my vet says rocks and socks blocks! Hope this helped.
