She seems to be chewing with only her front teeth...and chews very carefully in the back. I check her mouth often to see if I see the problem and all I see is new teeth!
Suddenly my 4 1/2 month old puppy is being a finickey eater!She's cutting teeth, could this be it?
Her gums seem like they could be a little bit sore from the new teeth coming in. You can try to put a dab (not to much) baby orajel on the gums before she eats so that it isn't so painful. Good Luck.

Reply:Yes, her gums are sore. Try freezing an old wash cloth that's soaked in water, then give her that to chew on - it's really soothing to sore gums.
