u should take that puppy back to the breeder or wherever u got him and wait about another month to go pick him up again. he is way to young to be way from his mother. u have way bigger problems than the chewing to worry about
Reply:At a month of age, he has a full mouth of teeth.
Reply:he is still a little young to be away from his mom...but you shouldn't have to worry about him doing any damage until he is around 3+ months ...get him chew toys and start teaching him to chew on a toy and not you or the furniture.
Reply:What bassetfreak said.

And, no, you don't have to worry about the chewing. He's probably teething, or about to start. A few puppy appropriate chew toys would be a good idea.
Reply:All puppies chew on things. IT's entirely normal. It's up to you to train your puppy what's acceptable to chew, and to provide it with things that he's allowed to chew. And you need to keep things out of his temptation..he can't help chewing when he's young, that's what puppies do.

And if you catch him, take away what he's chewing on, telling him NO sternly (but not screaming and hollering) to get him to stop. Then give him one of his chew toys and praise him extremely for chewing on that. Eventually, he'll understand what he's allowed to chew on.

And never, ever hit him. No matter what.
Reply:It's normal, he's teething.
Reply:puppies chew its perfectly natural. puppies will chew and chew. the start when there first teeth come in and then they will start again when they get there adult teeth. some dogs will chew there whole life or barley at all. you should expect most dogs to chew for a year maybe two before they out grow it. however the sooner the better when it comes to teaching you puppy what is good and what isn't when it comes to chewing. trust me you don't want to lose a good pair of shoes or a pillow!
Reply:Don't worry. All puppies chew on stuff. Just make sure you have a lot of puppy safe toys. Also watch your puppy to make sure he doesn't eat small wrappers or anything that isn't healthy for it.

If it is a month old are you the breeder? Or is it a stray? Or did you just get it weaned way too early?
Reply:they r just like babies they teth so there teeth hurt and what kind of dog is it if it is a lab they love tho chew on thing
Reply:Nope. It's normal. He'll be chewing things for a while yet.... :)

Get lots of chew toys for him so he doesn't wreck your stuff.....

GOOD LUCK!!!
